Notice 01Revised 15 September 2026
Terms.
A free volunteer community with an honest points game. The rules below say how points are earned, what the Arena is and is not, and what gets you removed.
What this is
Quantum Collective Global is a volunteer community for people interested in quantum computing and deep tech. Joining is free. There is no paid tier, nothing on this site is for sale, and no certificate or feature can be bought.
This website is the community's public record and its game: sessions, open source work, and a points system that rewards verified participation.
Accounts
You sign in with GitHub or Google. One person holds one account. Creating additional accounts to earn, to referee yourself, or to play the Arena against yourself is grounds for removal and for reversing everything those accounts touched.
Your handle, display name and chapter are yours to set. Names that impersonate another person or mislead are changed or removed.
How XP and points are earned
XP and points are credited only for verified participation, as listed on the How Points Work page: attending sessions with a live code, merged pull requests on Quantum Collective repositories, graded challenges, judged hackathon projects, active referrals and completed roadmap modules.
Every credit is written to an append-only ledger. Lines are never edited. If a credit was granted in error or earned dishonestly, an administrator writes a reversal line with a recorded reason. Sharing session codes with people who did not attend counts as dishonest earning.
Points are never money
Points are game currency inside this site only. They cannot be bought, sold, transferred between members, exchanged for anything of monetary value, or withdrawn. They have no cash value and create no claim of any kind against the community or its volunteers.
Prizes and seasonal honours are recognition: features, certificates and titles. They are never cash or cash equivalents.
The Arena
The Arena lets two members stake points on a match of skill, such as an auto-graded quantum quiz duel or a judged project face-off. It is limited to members who have confirmed they are 18 or older and have at least two verified attendances.
When a challenge is accepted, both stakes are locked until the match settles. The winner receives both stakes minus a 5 percent rake, and the rake is destroyed rather than kept by anyone. A draw returns both stakes in full. A challenge nobody accepts within 48 hours expires and the stake is returned.
Limits apply to protect members and the economy: a stake may not exceed 200 points or a quarter of your balance, you must keep at least 50 points after staking, and there are daily, per-opponent and cooldown limits shown on the challenge form.
Arranging results, colluding with another member to move points, using outside help during a timed match or automating answers breaks these terms. Matches involved are reversed and Arena access can be suspended.
Community conduct
Treat people decently in sessions, in the group chat, in repositories and in the Arena. Harassment, discrimination, sustained hostility, spam, unsolicited recruitment and promotion of unrelated commercial products are grounds for removal.
Beginners ask beginner questions here by design. Anyone who makes that unsafe does not belong here. Removal decisions are made by the founders and administrators on what they saw.
Contribution records and titles
Merged pull requests are credited automatically when GitHub reports the merge. Pull requests opened to inflate a count, trivial changes submitted in bulk or work merged in error may be reversed.
Titles such as Contributor, Builder or Core Contributor are granted by administrators for work that shaped the community. They are not earned by XP and are not purchasable.
Your work stays yours
Code you contribute is licensed under the license of the repository you contribute to, stated in that repository. Nothing here transfers ownership of your work to the community. Anything you present in a session remains yours; sessions are recorded only with the speaker's agreement.
No warranty
The site, its simulators and its tools are provided as they are, without warranty. They are for learning and play. To the extent the law permits, the community and its volunteers are not liable for any loss arising from use of the site, its code, its sessions or the Arena.
Services we rely on
Sign-in runs through GitHub and Google, sessions run on Google Meet, discussion happens on WhatsApp, recordings live on YouTube and code lives on GitHub. Their own terms apply to your use of them.
Changes and governing law
These terms may change. The revision date above changes with them, and material changes are announced to members. These terms are governed by the laws of India.
